Ferries in Suspended Operation

The ferry from Korsakov, Russia to Wakkanai, Japan was suspended in 2019.

The ferry service between Vladivostok, Russia and Nanao City, Japan has been suspended, with no plans to resume.

The Xin Jian Zhen ferry from Shanghai, China to Osaka, Japan has been suspended due to the 2019 coronavirus disease pandemic. Currently, freight transport has resumed, but due to the large amount of cargo carried by the Xin Jian Zhen, it is inconvenient to dock at the Shanghai Port International Passenger Transport Center terminal in the city center. The Shanghai Jungong Road terminal does not currently have passenger inspection facilities (under construction), so passenger transport has not yet resumed and is expected to resume in 2025.

The passenger route from Lianyungang, China to Pyeongtaek, South Korea has not yet resumed.

The route from Yingkou, China to Incheon, South Korea has not yet resumed passenger service.

The route from Tianjin, China to Incheon, South Korea has been temporarily suspended due to the age of the ship and is expected to resume operation after the ship is replaced.

Ferries from mainland China to Taiwan Island may not have resumed passenger transport.
